Why Choose Friedrichshafen Airport?

Located just three kilometers from Friedrichshafen, Germany, and not far from the Austrian Alps, Bodensee Airport is a modern international hub that is especially popular among skiing and snowboarding lovers during winter months.

Established in 1915, the airport is one of the oldest airports in Germany. Direct flights to Friedrichshafen are available from Toulouse, Antalya, London, etc. Domestic destinations include Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and other cities.

Note that the airport does not work from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. The airport consists of one terminal with 7 gates and features duty-free shops, a cafe, and even an observation deck. For the convenience of tourists, a hotel and a fitness center are located nearby. The Dornier Museum of Aviation is within walking distance, too.

Tourists can easily order a transfer from the airport, rent a car or take a taxi (15-20 EUR). To get to the city center, passengers can also use a bus (2.20 EUR as of March, 2019) or a train from Friedrichshafen Flughafen station.
